Artist Angela M Richard started her art career in Los Angeles in 1991...  now resides in Vancouver B.C. Canada.

I began my art world in the city of Angels in and around the late 80's early 90's, after a few trips to NYC and seeing Warhol and Jean Basquiat..I was truly inspired.

 For me, the process of making a painting starts with my obsessive collection of images including my personal photographs. I use images of past and current Pop Culture.

I then fracture, augment and digitally manipulate these images into my own visual interpretation, which is later translated to the painting. My present day works come from many years of self training.
